Accounts Payable Clerk/Admin

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Admin/AP Clerk to join their team in California. This position is ideal for individuals who have a background in property management, real estate, or construction, and who are looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The role involves a blend of accounts payable tasks and light administrative duties, with opportunities to contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform light administrative duties to support the team.
  • Utilize Sage 300 and Yardi software; experience in these is highly preferred.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the department.
  • Apply knowledge of property management, real estate, or construction to enhance job performance.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records and files.
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Sage 300 and Yardi is highly preferred.
  • Background in construction, property management, or real estate is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Work Hours

This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with first shift hours.
